In addition to managing flow through the warehouse to the packing station, the Micronexx software rates a shipment through multiple parcel carriers to select the best rate, on a shipment-by-shipment basis. Real-time interfaces to DHL, FedEx, and UPS allow for the least expensive carrier to be selected. Automatic bar code shipping labels are coordinated with picking waves for easy, error-free shipping operations, on the least expensive route.
Tracking information is coordinated back into the database, distributed via email to customers and made instantly accessible to customer service staff. Our parcel-shipping module also integrates with our LTL freight module, and can cross rate shipments with all carriers lowering oversize and dimension fees on larger shipments.
